Ill admit I was very skeptical. However, after using the app to navigate my way thru the labyrinth of streets in Rome, the back alleys of Barcelona and Sevilla and the cobblestone streets of Tarfifa, Im sold! This is a must have app for those who love to walk a city with general directions. No need to check maps and decipher street names if you just follow Crowsflight. I suggest doing a little pre-planning and saving a few sights, bars, restaurants and locations of interest prior heading out the door. Then you can just wander the city and reference your locations as needed.

** Update: it just stopped working. Will not track any longer. Anyone else having this problem? This app does exactly what I need it to do. And now with the latest update it is even more accurate and useful. I work in TV news and need to quickly know where to point my microwave dish. This app does exactly what I need it to do.

So I downloaded this app a while back and never used it after playing with it the first 5 mins. Today I am in an area Im not familiar with and couldnt couldnt see on apple or google maps where I was in relation to 2 or 3 different places. I tried dropping pins and I just couldnt keep more than a single place selected at a time. Thats when I decided to reopen this app and it did exactly what I needed. I dropped my pins and could see my gps somewhere in the middle and thats about all I really wanted. I then used the selections to look in the directions I needed to point out. This app will not be used everyday and may not be the best at what I need it for but it did help me out a ton today.

Etcetera who are off the beaten track in the woods. Drop a pin where your vehicle is and bingo youve got yourself a crow flight plan.

It is useless and not worth the trouble. Maybe if I was lost it would be helpful, but otherwise it is just too much trouble. Get an adult to edit the thing.

This app does what it says it will do quickly and elegantly. The design alone makes it a pleasure to use. Would recommend only for certain type of landmark based navigation as it isnt going to help you navigate urban traffic patterns, etc.

I just moved from the USA to London and this app is my new best friend. Plug in destinations around the city and go for a wander without fear of getting lost. I dont care how I get there, but I know that I will get there.

Im a westerner that put this app to the test in Tokyo. Worked perfectly.

First release was easy to use and worked. Now it doesnt take the current location and doesnt show the distance and direction to the keyed in place. Disappointing.

I travel extensively for work and this app has saved me in a pinch many times while letting me expand my horizons in a new city. Perfect for me, a person who doesnt like to ask for directions ever!

It has very simple and great idea, easy to use and gives good locational information. However designers are might be fired! Bitmapped fonts and horrible teeth image makes me feel so so so bad.

Wonderful

Ive used this app on a long train trip, long drives, and hiking. It doesnt tell you driving directions or how long itll take you to get there, but its great for giving you a ballpark idea of how far away something is, or the general direction you need to go. Simple, clean interface can be a little confusing, but its fun for what it does.

Very bad. "Helpful" hints that refuse to get out of the way.

I dont use this app often but its great for finding my way back to where I parked my car in a large parking lot. If I was to park my car more Id use it every time.

I love this app. I dont always like to use a map when I navigate especially while hiking. Its also nice to see in what direction and how far things are from you. Seriously great app!

Frozen at instruction screen

You cannot enter an address and use that as the point you want to go to. Why would you build a nav app if you cant enter your destination? If it let me enter an address and use it then this would be a great app.
