Useless for Dallas area

I couldnt use it for Dallas area!

Nice looking app but useless so far.

Very interesting design and graphics. BUT....right off the bat it places the test location Im looking for (a major hotel a mile from my house) miles away across town. Not a good start for a map application. Until they fix this glaring problem, its just a 10 second piece of eye-candy and then deleted. Ill check back some other time if I remember to.

Lousy

Waste of money

Brilliant

My favorite app you dont need wifi or 3G to discover and remember places

Great Stalking App...

j/k ... Nice for landmarks and locations, but man made objects get mixed results. Needs to be incorporated into Wikipedia to assist with coordinate locking.

A beautiful and useful app

The simplicity and modernity of the design makes this application a joy to use. The layout is straight forward without any clutter. The suggested means of transport to a destination are a nice feature (cycle versus walk), but I would add train as well, as flying 100 miles is impractical and wasteful.

Cryptic

Nice idea but hard to use.

Simple navigation yet very useful

Awesome app. Sometime you dont need all the voice commands and turn by turn directions on how to get to your destination. This app just points you to the general direction. Very useful if youre on foot and not near a street.

Proper!

Versatile and minimal! props

Awesome App!

This is such a cool concept. Super easy to use too!

Great Idea

Excellent app for walking. Wish Id thought of it. Ill be using this a lot when I travel.

Very nice, but needs to support multiple lists of locations

I like the minimalist interface, and especially the ability to use URLs to add locations (since I can look them up on my computer and then use Notes to move the URLs over to my iPhone). The only thing that seems lacking is that all locations are kept in one long list - Id like to be able to have different lists of locations, so that I can use this more easily when traveling (one list for home, one for destination A, one for destination B…).

Great for travel abroad

Load the address in the hotel room and getting there is easy without costly data charges!! Highly recommend.

Brilliant for urban discovery, but not perfect.

I LOVE Crowsflights concept. In the two weeks Ive had the app, Ive tried it in London and Los Angeles. One of those cities I am considered a local and I still found the app helpful in getting me places on foot and/or bicycle while still discovering new routes and the places that come with it, along the way. The design is gorgeous. Ive personally never seen a compass look like this, so its new to me. I like how it points me in a direction and, at a glance, I can see how close or far I am to my destination. Things to improve: Id love to search locations by intersection (e.g. 6th ave & 3rd st). Id also like if I could sort results by proximity. Often I get results that are absurd. If Im trying to get somewhere on foot I dont want to know about places that are thousands of miles away. The price is right and app is superb. Love it.

Really cool

Handy and great looking app.

Clever, obtuse

Could be handy if the UI werent inscrutable. Should be redesigned to be usable not "cool."

Simple to use

Tells me the direction and distance. Thanks guys. Love the ability to save current location. New update is awesome!!

Kinda weird, hard to get the app to recognize where I am

The app always thinks Im in New York. If I change it to be where Im located, reloading the app seems to reset that. Great idea, not executed well though.

Very cool

Just downloaded the app but I can tell its gonna be a lot of fun

Specific use, but also beautiful and simple b

I feel like this is an app that is a bit niche but could be rather useful the more you use it. It is hard to beat many full map app but this offers an interesting perspective. I hope to use it more often and take advantage of the adventures it offers.
